A week with Maxima

I've now had my 2002 SE 6-spd for a week now, and I dig it. I just want to drive. I don't need a destination.

One thing that has really impressed me is the power available even at low RPMs. The interior is very comfortable and somewhat elegant. The exterior is stylish and aggressive. The trip computer looks cool although I don't believe what it's telling me. I've been pleasantly surprised by the auto-dim rearview mirror.

One thing that I would like to replace is the Bose CD changer. Why do so many people like Bose? It's okay at low volumes, but at higher volumes, the bass is quite nauseating.

And believe it or not, my first experience with Nissan service was very good. I got some wheel locks, but was unable to loosen the lug nuts. I called up the dealership and they said to bring it in and they'll take care of it. 15 minutes later, I had my wheel locks installed at no charge.

I understand now why so many people are crazy about their Maximas.

Just wanted to share my experience after a week. Thanks for listening.
