Struts

I have a 2001 maxima and i have maxspeed lowering springs (1.4F 1.3R) on with stock struts. The ride is very bumpy and uncomfortable i feel everything in the road. I am looking to get struts i read the thread on this and i still don't know. I want my max to ride smooth i sick of feeling everything in the road i was thinking either:

-TOKICO HP SHOCKS/STRUTS

OR

-KYB GR-2 STRUTS SHOCKS

-
GABRIEL SHOCKS STRUTS (Saw these on ebay probably crap but don't know)

What do you guys think i should go with for a smoother ride? Thanks.

I would say Tokico HPs (Blues) for the best ride.

See my posts in this thread about Blues w/ aftermarket suspension to see my thoughts on running the Blues with lowering springs:

I just put on Tein S. Tech, and my ride now is super bouncy...I hate it, it bounces soo much now, whenever I hit a bump or hole, it bounces like crazy, maybe around 10 bounces, no lie. Its very annoying and unsafe. My even tailwhips sometimes.

Best riding lower/sport set up I've ever felt was Progress and GR-2's.
The HP's are a great strut, but I feel they are a bit soft for a sport spring.

Blues are too soft. Every bump you'll feel. I'd say go with illuminas. they're about $450 for a set.

Does anyone have maxspeed lowering springs with either blues or the kyb gr-2 struts? If you do please let me know what you think of them. Just looking for a smooth ride.

If you want to lower your car at ALL, then you need struts that are more advanced than Blues. Blues were designed for stock height. They will not hold up to the harsher climate that a lowering spring will create. If you're lowering using any spring, then get Illuminas or KYB GR-2's, or if you want adjustable KYB's, get the AGX's.

On stock springs, Blues are pretty soft. I've found GR-2's to be mildly/marginally stiffer than Blues.

Does anybody see the irony of this "genius" sarcasm in the context of his grammar and spelling?

Truth and education are not related concepts.
