Bose head unit cuts out

pulled a tard move and couldnt see the clickable link so in my dumbass move here this is for anyone looking.

googled already, only posts i found of help reffered back to here to a link that the site is now unavailable. edit: found some links but one has no pics so now my question is, is it as simple as just sliding the wire strip back into place and using hot glue or something to hold it in place?
