Sorry this is OT, but could you share your modlist if you dont mind? Are you tuned also? I love seeing 5.5s in the 13s, even the 12s

I believe HLSD will be more beneficial during an auto-x rather than the drag strip. Is that right?

13.8 is awesome. The fact that you didn't even know whether you have HLSD or not (which itself is kind of odd... sorry) speaks to the point that it's a less relevant feature than quality mods and tires.

For 500 points -- The best application for HLSD.

OMG, and fog light capsules aren't OT? That was as strange a shift in topics as I've seen in a while.

it sure wont hurt on drag, but for auto-x and esp road racing is where its most beneficial..

the HLSD steering wheel also appears to have perforated leather whereas the plain one does not. And I think the stitching color is referred to as titanium.

No, they're all perforated in sections. I'm thinking if there's a stitching difference on the maxima, it's for the TE option in 2003, not HLSD.

Don't forget about the quicker acceleration out of said corner, courtesy of the lower final dfive.

I know this is an old post but I heard that pedal myth too and I wasn't sure so I was searching to find out a way to 100% be sure I had the HLSD. I do! I used to own a 97 Maxima (auto) and accelerating you would get that wheel tug to the right under hard acceleration and sometimes in the snow too. When I got this car I noticed IMMEDIATELY it does not do that so I almost didn't even have to look to know because I could feel the difference and it DOES make a HUGE difference driving! I would have to disagree that its not a big deal if you have HLSD or not. Thanks for the post though, I'm learning more and more.

PS: I don't know if search is working. I tried some things but it still seems like its not picking up things. So I just go to google and type in my question and put maxima.org at the end and usually anything relating to that question in the maxima forum pops up. Just in case others were wondering how to search without the actual search button.
