I'm pretty sure you can't drive my car. Let's not start down this road...

Are you really going to go down this road? Well too late for that, I'm putting you on blast for being a ****. I gave you legitimate advice and you went and implied an insult at me.

So, is that not your car? And did you not run 14.9 and 15.2? WITH all those mods? In fact the green car to the right of yours had all the same mods as you MINUS the tune WITH 40,000 more miles AND on street tires. His slowest time of the day was 14.5 missing 3rd. His best time was 13.8. At Maxus on radials he ran consistent low 13s.

So like I said, learn to drive your car. Your gonna take all your **** out and barely run mid 14s, its a waste.

Im laughing so hard right now, you should have recognized my car in my sig and the fact that you my boy and I talked for a good amount of time at island. I'm so glad I saved those pics lmao.

Yes, I know who you are. And you REALLY don't want me to explain why you couldn't drive my car. Trust me, you don't wanna start.

Again, it was my FIRST TIME there. I ran a 14.6 as my best time then. The green Max had a 3" exhaust and 3" cutout also and had been to the track numerous times before.

You can fu(k off, seriously. Stop racing your MOM's car and get off my ***. I'm sure you were god when you went the first time. Actually, your time then was probably the same as it was when I was down there. You have an auto 3.0. It's not that hard to put your foot on the floor and wait 15 seconds to let off.

You could take the whole cat-back off and run a straight pipe through. That should shave some weight off

Oh so you'd like to attack the fact that I have a prosthesis? I'll go ahead and say it for you because obviously you are too much of a ***** to say it yourself.
Give me your car and I'll run low 14s WITH one hand. The kid with the green car will vouch for me all day, I don't let my disability stop me in any way. Its sad a kid with one hand can run your car better than you can.

And whats the "again" ****? YOU LIED ABOUT GOING TO THE TRACK! LOLOLOL WHAT A LOSER! That kid with the green car was at the track for the first time too! A cut out isn't going to drop him a second off your times!

And who cares about my car we are talking about yours fool. My car runs EXACTLY what its expected to run, so where is the **** talk coming from? And anyone with an auto 5th of 5.5 gen will vouch when I say its not necessarily as easy as flooring it from D. Is it as hard as stick? **** no, but there is some skill involved. Put my car in D and you will run 16 all day. Torque launch + manually shifting it and you will run 15.3 There is .7 tenths worth of skill to be found as far as I have experienced.

Seriously kid you are such a clown, I can't get over that you would lie about not going to the track. But I think we all know its obvious that you are embarrassed you can't drive.

No, I'm not a *****, I just didn't want to have to bring it up.

Yeah ok, fu(k you. You couldn't do it. Think what you want. Race with your friends car and see how that goes for you, I couldn't care if you trash his car.

And whats the "again" ****? YOU LIED ABOUT GOING TO THE TRACK! LOLOLOL WHAT A LOSER! That kid with the green car was at the track for the first time too! A cut out isn't going to drop him a second off your times!
WTF are you talking about, kid. Seriously. I never lied about going to the track. I went for the FIRST TIME when you 2 were there, I even said do in the ORIGINAL THREAD YOU CREATED! I went a second time and ran a better time. I ran a 13.8, so lick me.

And who cares about my car we are talking about yours fool. My car runs EXACTLY what its expected to run, so where is the **** talk coming from? Again, I never lied about going to the track. Please, show me when/where I did that.

Maybe I'd do better if I did the hypothetical twin engine swap into my car Seriously, get a clue.

Please please please tell me you aren't that dumb.

"I never went to the strip before."

And I want to see the time slip of this 13.8 please.

As a side note, if you really did run that time, get some tires if you want to gain performance. Why cut up your car for what will be fairly minimal gains?

With tires and less mods than you people are running 13 flat. You've got at least half a second of time to take off.

And erm "seriously" you're a clown, YOU need to get a clue and take my and everyone else advice in here.

Sorry, for simple people like you, I should I have worded it so you could understand it... That was my first time to the strip and I never went to the strip before the time I saw the black maxima and the teal maxima.

And I want to see the time slip of this 13.8 please.

I don't have it, lost it just like I lost the times of the 1st time I went. Don't now where they are, don't care if you or anyone else doesn't believe me.

And I "cut up" my car because I felt like it. Problem?

With tires and less mods than you people are running 13 flat. You've got at least half a second of time to take off.
That's great, I'm SOOOOOOO happy for them!! For a first time, I thought I was barely passable. I know the car has more in it, for sure. I also had a bad MAF and a blown o2 sensor.

And erm "seriously" you're a clown, YOU need to get a clue and take my and everyone else advice in here.
Actually I don't have to do ****. I asked for advice and as is typical with the .org, I get bull**** answers like ride naked and then your ****. Crap on someone else's thread or make more of your wonderful threads and GTFO of mine.

Weak "comeback."

You are getting ragged on because you are failing to acknowledge some good advice you are getting, and you are acting like a **** and clown all in one.

If you want to go faster, take care of the basics. After this "reduction" you will just want to go faster and you'll be forced to invest in some of the **** I have outlined. GET TIRES.

I am telling you times of other cars because I am trying to show you the best thing to do now is improve your driving skill. There is no point in doing more mods if you aren't even going to really get close to the gains they can give you.

You have at least .8 seconds of skill you can make up, stop thinking of more **** to do. And don't attack people because they are giving you advice in a thread designed by YOU to ask for advice.

He's not asking for advice on driving or other mods he's asking for weight reduction.

For the purpose of performance, he stated that somewhere.

Thank you very much, exactly. I didn't say "how can I go faster?", I specifically asked about weight reduction.

You've contributed NOTHING and you're going to continue to contribute NOTHING so I'm not even going to fuel the fire anymore.

So? That was still referring to weight reduction.

And honestly everyone is slow their first few times at the track. If he really did care then he'd post in the 1/4 mile forum.

Few last words...
If he was looking for more power he'll post a thread about it (which he has in the past)
If he was looking for more handling or more grip or more traction or whatever he would do the same.

Thanks man.

I think there is some good info in here and some helpful people. Sorry to all who have to read through the thread crapping. I'll get that taken care of.

And plus I think if your Maxima is an SE you're not allowed to remove any luxury items from the car.

And I still think lightweight rims > *

My advice on weight reduction in this case is to not do it. Its valid advise.

True, but the OP is asking for ways to reduce weight, not IF he should reduce weight.
