Testing A33 IACV, need member input

I need a favor from you guys with working 5th gen Idle Air Control Valves. The FSM has a testing procedure that requires you to remove the IACV from the Throttle body but leaving the connector plugged in.

It claims if you turn the key to IGN (not turn the car ON, but to light up all the gauge cluster lights), that the IACV should move up and down as you turn the key on/off.

Can you guys check to see how much the valve moves up and down when your turn the key to ON position and off? I tried it on mine and im trying to rule out if my ECU is fried from trying to use a A33 IACV on a 4th gen 00vi. Both my A32 and A33 IACV's move but it only a tiny bit. Not noticeably enough to control air flow. Like 1-2mm.

Thanks.

In order to test the IACV you need a volt meter, T-pins go to the conecctor of the IACV and test the connections... I used to have an actual picture of what connector is wich but idr where i put it ill try to find it for you...Basically they have to be with in a certain voltage... if there out of spec then you know to replace it thats one way to test it another is to use a scanner wich not alot of people have access to.. thats all ik so far
