Question regarding Tein SS coilovers.
Question regarding Tein SS coilovers.
A quick question about height adjustment on the Tein SS. From what I can tell, when you increase the height of these coilovers, you're effectively increasing the preload of the spring by raising the spring perch.
Is this true?
Or is there clearance for the rod in the strut/shock to extend up with the spring?
I want to adjust the height to around -1.6 - -1.8 in the front and -1.0 - -1.3 in the rear, preferably without changing the preload.
Thanks.

i think this is what your looking for...not to sure. once you do the adjustements, your basically turning the heightner rings to the ride height you desire. the springs remain on the perch but are tightened or loosened when you do the adjustments unless your doing it while the coilover are still on the car while your adjusting.
Don't know if that helps you at all.
