Ordered my new 19"ers a few hours ago...............

I decided to let the MOMO's gogo b/c they made me too sloslo. I have stripped my car back to factory just to start all over again! I just orgered me a set of Real Racing Model II's in gunmetal w/ a polished lip 19x8.5 in the front and 19x9 in the rear. Here is a link to the wheels http://aktusa.com/Images/realracing_brand/real2_car.jpg I was told that they weighed 24.9 lbs each! Next up air bags and another Stillen kit w/ a touring lip!

Why would you get a different width from front to back? I hope your runing the same size tire all around.

So I could get a lower offset to make for a deeper lip! I sold my MOMO's a month ago!

Thats a good question. I don't have a good answer for what happens when you run a wider tire on the rear on a fwd car. But here is some other info

On a rwd car a wider wheel and tire on the rear provide for more traction.

The same holds true for fwd drag type cars.

But I'm not sure what happens when you run wider on the non drive wheels. Maybe somebody else does.
