2002 maxima with P0226 code

Need Help, Limp mode
I need some help with the P0226 code...
I was at a gas station on saturday and when i came out, turned the car on and the engine service light was on.... so i taught to myself it was probably an 02 sensor... well driving at 10mhp for about 10 seconds, my car would not accelerate, as if it was in limp mode...
I took out the negative side of the battery over night and same thing happend next morning...
I drove my car to autozone to get the code, and it came out to be P0226
definition BBIPS (throttle position sensor) / APP. (accel. pedal BB position) performance condition/
prob causes.
TPS or APP sensor shorted or open
Check connector and wiring to sensor.
Well ive checked and also replaced the Throttle body, ive taken the gas pedal from my bro's 5.5 auto maxima and tried it on mine.
Ive tried to do the Open and Closed valve body procedure but it doesnt work on my car, niether does the reset ECU (is it different for 6MT?)
one of my friends have the OBD2 tool and so i deleted the code and car ran fine again for about 30 seconds, and then BAM, falls flat on its face, light came back on and everything was messed up again. I can only give it about 15% throttle and so it takes a loooong time to reach the city's speed limit...
im not sure on what else to do?? I know there is a recall on the pedal stopper but i dont even press it all the way down and it still does this...
any help would be greatly appreciated.. ive researched for a day and did the things that were mentioned but no luck...
