I got them from tein, you can go up to something like 12kg/mm (so takes 12kg or about 25 lbs to compress the spring 1mm.) or more as long as u know what model springs you have now. As I said the rear was too soft, now it is about the same as how It felt with the Eibachs but more comfortable and better handling.

Ok, so the front springs are SC070-01250, the Sc070 means that they are 7kg/mm springs and the 01250 means what size they are. So for the Maxima you can get up to SC120-01250 and they will fit on your maxima coilovers. 12kg/mm or 672 lb/in.

The back springs are SG060-01250, so you can go as high as a Sg200-01250 which is a tapered spring starting at 70mm diameter and ending up at 90mm diamter at the top, which fits the maxima coilover (and many others) and has a 200 kg/mm or 1120 lb/in, for those massive rear speakers. LOL

Also keep in mind that a stiffer spring will not allow you to go as low as a softer spring.

It's all on the Tein website if you know where to look.

They also have helper springs, which will make the coilovers progressive spring rates, but you will not be able to drop the car as much because they add height.

If you have really big *****, you could order shorter springs from another coilover, as long as you keep to the correct size. The fronts are straight 70mm diameter springs with a height of 5.8" but you could get a spring as low as 3.8" with the same diameter and maybe you could go lower. I don't recommend it. But if you get the right diameter and style you can mix and match. NOT RECOMMENDING this just saying it can be done, but i have no idea if it will work. The springs will fit, but they might be way too short.

You can also get racing springs which is a whole new ball game as well

Cool. I think I will stick with standard springs. Question, if you put a new spring on Exactly the same size just a stiffer spring do I have to go and get another re-alignment? even with the dampening setting on the hardest setting it was still too soft with the springs that come with the Tein coilovers? I really just DONT want my car squatting in the back when I accelerate....dont want a rock hard ride.

put it this way, I did not rub with my 245 45 17 and +25 offset with the eibach setup.

I rubbed over every friggin nook and cranny with the teins and the stock springs they came with
and anytime you remove suspension stuff you should realign

Great info knight!

No Allignment needed when changing just spring rates as long as they're the same size. You may need to lower it a fraction lower because a higher rate won't compress as much with the weight of the car on it. This will only be noted it the rate is drastically different

What settings you have on your ride height for front and back? Did you drop the ride or you kept it at min settings? Im not looking to be slammed all to the ground. I heard they 1.5" in the front min drop and about 0.8" in the rear min drop. I planned on keeping them at the min setting. Might lower the rear a little to line up with the fronts though.

I tried to keep the Eibach drop. I'm pushing 50, so I just wanted to get rid of the 4x4 look

Just for clarification. I said you couldn't go as low with the teins if you had a stiffer spring. What i meant was, tein says 3.1 drop with the springs provided. I doubt it will go that low with stronger springs.

It looks pretty non-intrusive to me. Smaller than a CD case.
