Dash light problem

I am having a small issue with my dash lights. The lighting for the tach and the odometer dont like up occasionally. Sometimes just one or the other wont light up, sometimes both wont. Sometimes they will come back on after an undetermined amount of time. Any info would be helpful.

I have checked fuses(which i know is not the problem, its either all or none), searched here there and everywhere, to no avail.

Im thinking it is a cluster issue and it will need to be replaced but I am hoping not. Thanks.

I would check the bulbs/leads. Use a voltage tester.

Hey 01,

I know it's been awhile since you posted this, just wondering if you ever got this issue resolved? Was it just the bulbs? If it was the bulbs do you remember the bulb #? How hard was it to get to them to check/replace? I've developed the same issue and getting ready to tear into the dash soon...
