so when i bought this car i noticed that one of the fog lights was out (drivers side)...now i cant have that, whats the point of rewiring the fogs with only one. so i swapped them out (also sealed the glass fronts up with some glass sealer...large crack in both of them). anyway my point is i swapped both of them out with some silver stars and yesterday I noticed that one of them was out again...****!. i tapped on the glass a couple times and it came back on. when i got home i pulled it out checked all the connections and everything and it did it again this morning. im stumped...anyone got some advice.

i did the rewire and ive checked all those connections along with the fuse and relay. i dont know what my next step is.

you may have gotten some water in the housing from the large crack.
It may or may not be sealed but the damage could have been done already.

 

what if i take it apart and dry out the housing, reseal everything and try again?

its worth a shot because the foglights are pretty expensive to replace if you go OEM....however if its water that caused the problem i dont think its repairable.

 

Hey whats up guys. I know this mod is not street legal (cant drive around with it without the headlights) But how about inspection??. Anyone from New york would know if the inspection station would actually check to see if your fogs come on with your headlights and would you fail? Any one from other states can help me out too if they know the regulationS for there state as well? Please Help
