The tip is a reasonable match for your 5.0 gen. At first glance, it actually looks like an aesthetic improvement. It's pretty darn cheap, too. Go for it.

Im not crazy about how it looks, but I must admit it actually does sound pretty decent.

they show the inlet diameter as 2 in. Correct me if im wrong, but isn't it supposed to be 2.25?

I think it sounds like a fart can on a Honda Civic.

This time I listened to the video. RAZ is right in a crude but accurate sort of way. Fart can on a Civic pretty much sums it up.

Shame too, because it looks halfway decent for the 2000-2001 Max.

dont buy that, 2 inch piping sucks. if you are going to upgrade do it right, get 2.5 for your 3.0, you can get 3 too if you really want.

2" piping will RESULT in a LOSS of power, also result in a ****ty sound. Lets not go into these TIG welding of ebay...I've heard the horror stories of the TIG welds from ebay products.

Flowmaster is very restrictive and belongs on V8s not Maximas.

Im 99% sure it's just like the 6th gens, 2.25. I would not cut corners and degrade. Do 2.5 or 3, no less and it will sound better. It' snot just a muffler that changes the sound.
