My max 2k2....

i have a maxima 2k2 and it cuts the fuel to the engine (redline) at 7000 when in nuetral.
if u have a 2k2. tell me yours

Please, for the love of god, STOP reving your engine to 7K in N. Thats BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD. Stop it......don't ruin that pretty 3.5L work of art.


Did i mention not to this? Really in gear, bupping the limiter is not all that bad, but "free reving" and unloaded engine to 7k is BAD.

Yep, that's bad bad stuff. The engine is designed and setup to be perfectly balanced all the way to the redline (or rev limiter) with a load attached. Revving like mad in neutral would have the engine out of balance.

In fact, on my Accord V6 the rev limit in park (neutral I think too) is 5000rpm.

So don't do that
