Hi guys,

Am I the only one having trouble getting an accurate reading with the 5th gen. Max oil dipstick? With all these weird turns and bends in the stick, each time I go to check the oil level, the oil is all up and down the stick, not just between the two levels.

Yes, I am measuring on level ground and before driving. Can anybody comment? Thanks.

 

wait about 10 mins after you've run the car and you'll be able to read it. kinda a pain..

 

someone drilled a small hole in the dipstick to make it easier to read.
