Two years since asking the question, "What would you like to see NWP do next for the 5th Gen?"... and the response is an EGR BOP for the 6th gen?

C'mon, Aaron. Whip up a NWP-branded design for dead-pedals and we'll eat them up like popcorn shrimp.

They should jump into the header market with all of that perfect precision cnc work I just saw while installing their spacers.

A dead pedal shouldn't be too difficult to design. That could be a possibility for the future.

As for the projects we are currently working on, I am not able to release any details just yet. A couple of the projects are so innovative, that I have to be careful about disclosing information to the public before the prototypes are finished with testing and we know the design is protected.

But as for small projects like the EGR Block Plate or a dead pedal, I don't mind releasing information about that.

A nice shift **** would be sweet, considering the reverse trigger basically means nothing outside of OE will fit correctly. I'd buy one. Brushed pedals would be nice for those of us with three pedals. I'd love to see smaller than OE overflow reservoir thanks with OE bolt patterns (bolt in to the same place, ome with new lines). 40/45mm wheel spacers. Trans/motor mounts with more stiffness and a real powdercoat.

OK, Mr. Secretive Guy.

I'm sure you're going to design something that I can't live without, it will be awesome, and all the cool kids will want one. But by then someone else will be driving my Maxima, and I'll be seeing what NWP has going on for the VQ37VHR.

Testing has been ongoing on some of these secretive products for quite some time! Nobody knows about it though. So one of the designs will be finished with all its testing and production should start within the next 3-4 weeks! The other project I'm working on should be released before the end of the year. But we will still be testing that prototype for at least another month I bet before any info is released.

Also a nice oil catch can kit. One that includes hardware and a perfect spot to place the container (custom bracket).

So then you are working on a dead pedal? If so you got a sell here!!! Foot get tired dangling around under there...lol.

How about NWP high flow intake manifolds. Something better than just an SSIM. Something with more plenum volume and everything
(kind of like Sparks IM). Now that would be cool, especially if it could work with the spacers!

I totally remember this thread. I didn't have any suggestions 2 yrs ago either so I'll just hop on your suggestions. they all sound good and consistent. STS, Flywheel, Pulley (lightweight not underdrive - cuz it's all about weight reduction right???) rotors front and rear or is there a reason only the front rotors get to be big brake? I've got more all of the sudden but I gotta go now. Holla.

It's not like NWP has a lot of competition out there to steal his ideas for Maxima's, but in today's world, you gotta protect your work to keep a much larger company stealing NWP's ideas and getting them developed and on the market before NWP gets the chance.

Lots of money for R&D with a teeny tiny(read: miniscule) market of buyers. It's not gonna fly. People really motivated to make FI happen just make it happen. So, skip a night at Chippendales(sp?), take a few measurements, and pay someone to machine one for you. Otherwise, I really don't think this idea is a reasonable project for Aaron. No matter how many threads you repeat it in.

Not going to happen, IMHO. Why would Aaron R&D headers? If he wanted to go in that direction he could just buy Cattman.

If you need headers, they are already available.

we need a dead pedel like i need a fawking hole in my head.... why would aron buy catt man when he could just come out with his own headers. theres little to no r&d if he gets a hold of a header and has someone copy it. been thinking about doning that with my hotshots. since they make the most power and sell them for 400

Hold on there, Clashez, not so fast! Trepanning might be exactly what you need. You should maybe start a polling thread, asking the 5th gen forum whether or not you should drill a hole in your head. I think you might be surprised at the results.

You really want to do something truly altruistic for the 5th Gen community, Clashez? Ask Aaron if he wants to borrow your unused Hotshots, free, for as long as it takes to replicate the design.

Do you have the character to actually do that?

It's business, so I understand competition, but why try to one-up something that is already done right? We all have Cattman Headers (or at least the ones of us that care), so I'm pretty keen on NOT spending $500.00 and ripping everything apart for small power gains (now that I've already topped off with the best of the best in Cattman).
P.S. Clashez, I want a dead pedal for comfort, style, and to cover up the ugly spot that now shows since my rubber cover fell off the carpet where a dead pedal would go.
...and scene.

Still want a shortened (2-3") shifter for us 5 speed guys. Possibly paired with a weighted shift **** so that shifting effort is not compromised that much.
