Actual bulb size for 02-03 low beams?

I was looking at the chart for the bulbs for my 02 Max and all they say for bulb size for the low beams is HID. I want some 6k HID low beams and I found a cite that sells them for 20 a pair but my problem is I dont know what size to get and cant find it cause half the things I search for are freakin from 03 or 04

They should be D2R bulbs.

D2R like previously mentioned and I agree. For $20 a pair, they are complete junk.

Cheap HID bulbs are ok for your fog lights, but I wouldn't want cheap bulbs in my headlights. As mentioned already they are D2R. However, You won't find the blue HID bulbs you're after from the 3 big OEM manufacturers (GE, Philips, & Osram), so that pushes you into cheap Chinese bulb land. If you're going Chinese, I guess you might as well get 'em as cheap as possible.

ebay is fine. Just make sure you get genuine Osram, GE, or Philips D2R bulbs. They'll be about $70 for a pair.

Be careful though, a lot of sellers show a pair in the pictures but the auction is really for 1 bulb. And yes stick to the brands above, I got the 5000k Philips Crystal Vision for $108 on eBay.

This is very true. There is one big factory in China (I believe it is in Guangzhou) that pretty much pumps out all the aftermarket HID bulbs/kits you see on eBay. Whether the price is $80/pair or $20/pair, I guarantee they are all the exact same manufacturer/bulbs. You ARE better off seeking out the cheapest, because they are all the same. Yes, they have different generic "brand" names, but those names mean nothing.

The Philips, Osram and GE bulbs are better. But, honestly as much as I hate chinese made stuff, they do a decent job with HIDs. I have a few sets of chinese HIDs, they are actually pretty good.

of course my last major retrofit I used Philips D2R bulbs.
