climate control question?

My auto/digital climate control is broken in my 2003 Maxima, i wanted to know if the same auto/digital climate control out of a 2001 Maxima would be interchangeable and work correctly?

the 00-01 auto climate control has an ambient temperature button on the face, the 02-03 don't (its in the cluster instead). thats the only difference IIRC.
