So, I was cruising today and strted to notice this problem after I installed my headers.. My car randomly will lose MAD power. Basically stopping at 4k rpm. Does this for about 30 seconds, than is fine again. Happened today while I was on highway and went to 3rd at about 70 to pass a truck. Maf problem? Please say no, I just replaced my previous one...

 

Mine did that right before it blew completely. Loosing power at 4k rpm from a super lean condition like a terrible hesitation for seconds at a time when at WOT. Then eventually wouldn't rev past 2.5k rpm. Don't leg it out until you get that MAF replaced. Its running very lean past 4k right now.

 

I'm actually runnin pretty rich.. my old one did the same but this one is new so hope not... Tune fix this I assume?

 

Hmm could it be an O2 issue?

 

Both primary o2's are plugged in. Maf shouldn't have effected from exhaust flow. Has nothing to do with it. Both o2 sensors are plugged... Other 2 are hanging. It happens literally once every 2-3 weeks.. And not only on cold starts. turn car off than on while driving and problem seems to be fine...
