I get a distinct low pitched whistle from the passenger side when I start the car in the mornings. This whistle happens towards the end of a gear change (auto) and then subsides. I am certain its not the belts...

Any thoughts/suggestions.

 

this may seem like a strange question. but do you use an fm ipod radio transmitter? if you do, youre probably hearing the frequency set off by the coil packs being picked up through your radio antenna. it happened to me once, almost sounded like a supercharger whining. lol.
