My 2002 Maxima is sold

The dealer called to let me know my car sold. They also wanted the 2nd remote from the car. That was quick. It took about 2 weeks. Looks like Steve won't be test driving it this weekend after all. Maybe the new owner will show up here.

hey Paul

overall...are you happy with the altima...i mean..its a 4cyl..and going from a 2k maxima auto to a 2k2 6sp and then to a Altima 2.5S...wouldn't it be better to stay with the 2k from the begining?

How does the tranny on the Alti shift compared to the super sluggish max auto tranny?

Financially speaking, I should have stayed with the 2000 Max. I wish I had skipped the 6 speed in between cars. I'm enjoying the Altima right now. Excellent car. Nissan is on a roll.

Check out this article.

The Altima and Maxima are best in class.

DAMMIT!!!!

Ah well, I hope they have another 6spd in stock. I'll call the guy back before Friday and see if they do. I'll still go just for the helluvit. I wouldn't consider a 2k2 automagic since I've already got an automagic. No 6spd in stock, no test drive

They may have others in stock. Their inventory is larger than Gaithersburg Nissan. (VOB has an off-site lot)

I wanted to test drive yours specifically because it was already broken in. That way I wouldn't feel bad if I really flogged it out on the test drive. I'll feel bad if I flog out a greeny one with 5 miles on it that I'm most likely not gonna buy anyways

Unless they've got an "abuse me" 6spd demo model

Had: 2k auto
Trade for: 2k2 6spd
But: was a pain to drive in all of the crappy traffic around here, so...
Traded for: Alty 2.5S/auto

He traded it in for an altima 2.5S auto, traffic proved to be to much for him and a manual.

I'm going to VOB. Gaithersburg sucks and there's one more in my area too. If I have to go down to Tyson's Corner forget it. I'll just stop by the next time I'm down there maybe...

Talk to Arman. He is excellent. VOB is much better than Gaithersburg Nissan for sales. I haven't tried their service department yet. I've heard mostly good things.

yeah rosenthal is pretty sleazy. thats why i didnt end up buying my 6 speed from them. but they knew i was looking for a fully loaded 6 speed and they really wanted my business so thats why they called to tell me they got more in, because they only had 1 in before while i was there and it was white so i didnt want it. i think they most likely did get a few more in.
