bad wheel bearing symptoms but not wheel bearing?

Last week i started noticing this humming noise coming from the front passenger side while driving at about 60 mph and it seems to get a little louder as i steer slightly left and quieter to the right (it could be my imagination lol) Pull into neutral, noise doesn't change. I thought for sure my wheel bearing was bad but when i put the car up on a lift and checked it there is no play at all. What else could it be? Could it be the tires? the transmission?

A wheel bearing can start to generate noise but not have any obvious excess play. Another source of noise could be the right side drive axle support bearing. It might be wise to first swap the front wheels for the backs just to eliminate the tires.

Make sure tires aren't choppy 1st.if they are than that's the noise. If not jack up front end and have somme1 drive car around 30-40 mph and hold spring to see if it vibrates. If it does than you got a bad wheel bearing
