The other max on the road and potential mods.
Hey guys, back again. I finally got my new sidemarker light in and replaced that (ghetto rigged it) so that it officially works on the right side of my car after the accident.
It slid in and stayed with the duct tape, but I put some clear tape over the sides just to secure it, just in case.
Anyway, a few things:
01) Saw a 5.5 gen tonight on the road going to Ihop. We kept pulling up to the same light and smiling. I looked at their car and gave them a thumbs up, as did they. Oh, how Maximas and Maxima drivers make me very happy.
02) I had to order a new windshield washer reservoir fluid tank because mine cracked in the accident, and now I'm out of washer fluid, which sucks given there's still salt over the road. Is it easy to replace that at home, or should I take that into a shop to get done?
03) I really like the tight look and feel of the Volkswagen suspension, but they still have a comfortable ride. I understand that the maximas are only 'sporty luxury cars' but I would like it to corner stiffer, and have a balanced looking ride. Volkswagens look nicely poised on their four wheels if I do say so myself, but I wouldn't ever buy one. (Friends '03 New Beetle overheated, and when they took it in, there was a 1000 dollar repair for lots of little things going wrong. This is why I love Max.) What are the best mods to go about to get this type of ride?
Thanks!
