HID's

all who know
(yo_its_ok) and others

do aftermarket HID's work??? every time i see them in town they
are duller than stock but blue colored barely light the road ...
what gives???
this a cost vs utility thing???

are you sure you are looking at HIDs? They may be just cheap blue bulbs.... seriously, HIDs, aftermarket kits or stock, are very bright.

i just (?stupidly) thought blue was HID?

HIDs come in all kinds of colors.... Audi varies from a nice deep blue to purple, Acura is bluish, the 2k2 maxima HIDs are more white than blue.....

this a cost vs utility thing???

Those are prob fake. These are real HID's. What you've seen are aftermarket bulbs. HID will give you 3 times the light of a bulb.
