I think this was a while before that. I'm not saying these shortys won't give any gain. Just not as much. Even if there are no #s for a Maxima it's common hot rodding knowledge that long tube headers make more power. I don't need to see a dyno to know that.

Here's the thing, if the install was quick and easy I'd say this was a good gain for the $. The problem is the install is a lot of work (or money). I just wouldn't do all that work to install a cheap part that didn't give as much power.

I've got shorty headers from Cattman....These are extra shorty or super shorty, almost block huggers......
I would think it a similar product to the OBX is a cost aspect getting a little more hp for a super low price, in which the person feels Cattman and even OBX are too high in cost for their needs.....
