Thanks, but here's what you don't know: I lost my left hand (well, arm@the elbow) in July 2007 in a motorcycle accident on the Autobahn. So, what you see is what you get

That's one of my only complaints about here at the .org.....
Everyone's got their critiques when they don't even know what they're getting themselves into.

Sorry to hear about that. Exhaust sounds good! keep it up

how much for only headers?

The 3 inch catback price of $659 includes them already?

Well, I did consider playing up how traumatic and life-changing everything was (and how it is so hard for me to talk about...), but then I... dang, why didn't I do that?

No problem, really. Yeah, back to loud, power-releasing exhaust discussion - aka praising Cattman products!

Oh, and I finally realized why I couldn't get rid of my exhaust rattle/banging: my engine sits 3/4" lower than stock, so there is even less (not really any) room between the cross-brace and the B-pipe (as compared to a more "stock" Maxima).

My cross brace is sitting in my garage. A bit hacked up. Tried washers, no dice. Saw-all, meh. So there it sits in my garage.

I think the Walker isolators need to be replaced on your setup....They seem to wear a bit in the bores in the 6-7 years I've had them installed since having a Cattman 2.5" and using those same on my 3" Cattman! I saying to replace them from the Header support all the way back to the rear muffler.... Here's some pic of my support:

darn it. I have about $600. Only if I could gather about $300 more, hmmm.

Would the Cattman headers fit the stock exhaust, as in the stock catalytic converter or whatever follows after the headers? sorry for my noobness

New to the forum but have trolled for many years. Just wanted to say that I installed Cattman 3" catback along with hi-flo cats many years back and have had ZERO issues. Paired with JWT CAI. Tucks nice. Great sound. Great quality. Pulls hard mid range on up. Makes the tires wear faster though... go figure!

So does anyone know what the price is shipped? I got excited until I saw $659 with the resonator.. lol.I was going to go with BRM but the resonator is 14' on the 3 "exhaust. and there are no clips with headers. Plus i am running cattman headers already so i would rather just keep it uniform.

I've read threw 13 pages of this thread. There was a Dyno comparasent at the start of this thread 3.0inch vs 2.5inch catback the 3.0inch seemed to kill the 2.5inch catback in power. But it was only one comparasent. There were a couple of people saying they were going to Dyno compare but didn't happen. Has anyone else done a Dyno comparasent with the 2.5inch vs 3.0inch exhaust. Is it definatly worth the change over and does this mod actually gain power and is
There actually anymore Dyno proof to prove this? Cheers Kurt.

I would recommend you getting the resonator built on your Cattman exhaust which is only 20" long......The Older 2.5" catbacks were 22" long! The volume is good with the resonator and I'm sure w/o will be crazy.....

Made me resurect some old files on this one... cool, I opened the can.

Invoiced 8/2006. Installed less then 60 days after. Got 130k on her now and stance is 26 1/5" from well to ground all the way around.

Fastcat Converter, SS Catback, FSTB, Progressive Sport Springs, KYB GR2's, JWT POP, Camber Kit. Lasting longer then the (2) automatic transmissions.

I'll try to get some pics up soon. She's a dirty girl...

I use a seat dyno but can say this. Some may think I'm full of """" but at 42, retired Snap-on and a 10 sec Stang in the corral take it as you see fit. The overall throttle response and mid/high range was night and day to stock. The 02's really need header's as this is there biggest restriction. I just like the "quiet" ride and ability to have her "yell" when I want to turn heads. I pulled a mid 14 in the 1/4 with an auto tranny. Wish I had a stick as my 3rd gear is where she loses her gallop. Happy nonetheless. What I was most amazed with is fuel economy. Car listed at 26/19 and I get 30/25 all day long with spirited driving and stock size rubber. After 5 years of that... the exhaust paid for itself. Just my .02.

I have a 3" and I am VERY pleased. Have nothing to compare to a 2 1/2" performance exhaust, only the stocker. It is not very often you can add both performance AND fuel econmy. Brian's service was too notch back then even though he was getting banged up in some threads. He's still selling today which backs that up and inspired me to jump in here. IMHO get the 3". That way when your ready for headers, turbo, etc. I like buying stuff once. He this helps and good luck. BTW, running be with one resonator is "foolish" on the street unless you like to hum songs.

Well I've got all 3 (stock, 2.5" and 3" Cattman) and there's a big difference between the stock and 2.5", and definitely a big difference between the 2.5" and 3" Cattman all the way thru the RPM spectrum....speaking form my own experience in how calm takeoff can still break the 18" tires loose by slowly rolling into the throttle....I couldn't do this as easy with the 2.5" catback it took more throttle and distance to accomplish this! I can do this same thing now with less throttle and within a 150' stop sign to stop sign distance...
