Saggy ride height

Does this pic seem like the back is sitting lower than the front? Or is it supposed to appear that way?

Stock springs, KYB GR2 struts. Nothing of significant weight in the trunk except the (full-size) spare.

If so, is this just a springs issue?

Completely normal. The front wheel opening are larger (higher) than the the rears. The actual chassis is damn near level with I35s. You can always throw a set of H&R front springs in there to even out the wheel gap.

Did you just install the springs and struts? If so, they will settle a bit and even out. You won't even notice a difference.

This is typical nissan 4x4 wheel gap. Get used to it LOL

This is the thing I hate most about these cars.

Yea, same with my 5.5, but i didn't want to go the half aftermarket/half stock approach as mentioend up top.

As you can tell in my signature the rear looks a little lower..ish, but i'm still very satisfied. Eibach/Illuminas setup .

looks a little tipped back. The wheel gap in the back looks pretty good, i personally would throw some h&r springs up front

according to the fsm for a 2001, the height from the ground to the top of the wheel opening in the fender is 27.48 inches at the front and 26.89 inches in the rear if the car has 215/55R16 tires. the heights will be different for other size tires, but the difference between the front and rear is about the same.

Looks like a very normal 4x4 Nissan look, the stock springs are maintaining the great wheel gap. Like the others have already stated the wheel well opens give you the illusion that the back is riding lower. Are you running with 16" stealies? they appear to be which will really accent that front wheel gap. I run KYB's with S-Tech spring and measure 25.5" on the front 25.75" at the rear. On stock 17" rims

This is what a 6th gen owner did: http://forums.maxima.org/6th-generat...-rear-end.html

I have considered doing it also b/c I don't really want to lower the front.

Some is normal for most Nissans but yours looks like a bit much. Park on some level ground and measure.

0.6 inch difference is normal per the 2k2 Maxima FSM:

I know it might appear to sit higher in the front, but I still think mine is a little excessive. I found a shot of when I first got the car, with the stock 17s. The wheels on there now are 16" steelies (overall diameter is 1/10th inch smaller than stock).

See how a dirty car makes things easier to see....

I have noticed that the surface the car is on makes a large difference in the stance. If there is the slightest decline towards the rear of the car, it accentuates the sagging. Additionally, a full tank of gas affects my rear height.
