When I picked up the car 3 weeks ago, the Nissan people said the Y pipe Stillen has would not fit the 2002.

Last week I went to this performance store that is owned by someone I know. They specialize in Honda/Acura but in the back they did have a 200sx, Gen3 Max, and couple Honda's. The also had couple award winning show cars.

I asked him if he can find me some mods for the 2002 and yesterday he left me a message saying he found some intake, springs, sway bars, and exhausts. Anyone else seen or heard about aftermarket stuff for the 2002?

I will call soon and find out what he found.

 

yes i hear there is a cone intake out, the springs will fit from a 2k1 and the sway will too. and an exhaust can be made to fit any vehice.

 

What about a FTSB? Do any of them fit a 2k2?

and i hear the courtesy FSTB will fit check with them though. i'm waiting for the stillen one.

 

At least they are coming out kinda quick. Some cars have two wait a year or more to get anything at all done for them. Cant wait to see when some 02's are fully done up with performance options.

Question:
The springs from 97-99 fits the 2k1.
You're saying that 2k1 springs will fit a 2k2.
Since A=B=C, 97-99 Springs will fit a 2002 Maxima? Correct?

i don't think so, they are different form 97-99 to 2k1/2k2 but i have a intake system for 5th gens at www.frankencar.com including 2k2

 

Mods that fit the 2k2:

- Intake (JWT, Stillen, CobyMoby's, FrankenCar Intake!!!)
- Rear Sway Bar (Addco, Stillen)
- Front Strut Tower Bar (Courtesy)
- Exhaust (dunno the brand)
- Springs (H&R, Maxpeed and a whole bunch more)

Mods that are still in the works:

- Y-Pipe (From several members at the Org)
- CAI (Place Racing)
- Front Strut Tower Bar (Stillen, Cattman)

That's about all i can think of now.
