I might be wrong, but I think those are the same ones that can be picked up off of eBay for around $150.

I'm pretty sure these can only take halogen bulbs, not HIDs...and they take H3 bulbs last I checked.

For that kind of money, you're better off doing a retrofit. It'd look much nicer. Or are you planning on staying with stock halogen bulbs? Either way, you'd also have to wire in a separate line for the high beams.

If you want those just get them off eBay. Search for pics through the albums. End of thread.

you can get those on ebay. those projector lenses are junk tho. youre better off getting the lights that look like those with the plain old reflectors like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01...Q5fAccessories. if you were to get the projectors, your best bet would be a retro, and it would end up costing you more money and work.

In all seriousness, you'd be best doing a retrofit. The beam is so much brighter and wider. They're not that hard to do, it's just a matter of being willing to pony up the extra money to do it.

If you do it right, though, the end results are usually gorgeous.

Overall, you can retrofit your OEM headlights (or aftermarket ones) with a projector lens (these lenses are usually from cars that came with projectors from the factory i.e. Acura TSX, Infiniti G35, Lexus etc. etc.)

Search: 'projector retrofit' it contains much much more detail (and I believe a few write-ups as well)

you could also check theretrofitsource.com

This is always a good decision. Kinda pricey, though.

Just be ready to have to run separate wires for the high beam. I dont think it's too difficult.

I'm looking for some replacement headlights because my OEM HIDs are slowly becoming opaque. I know the eBay projectors suck, but what about these reflector style ones? Are they compatible with HID bulbs? Thanks. Nevermind, they don't fit Maximas with HIDs.

Best way to clear up foggy headlights is to grab yourself some 2000-grit sandpaper and wetsand the hell out of them. Then use a real fine polish to smooth everything out, and then finally throw on a nice coat of wax to protect them.

It'll make them look like brand new. The only downfall is, once it's done, it needs to be re-done about every 6-9 months depending on the weather where you live.

If you're nervous about using sandpaper on your headlights, Brasso or Meguiar's Wheel and Mag polish are a good alternative. Just make sure you keep the stuff off your paint.

^ Yeah, sanding my headlights would make me kinda nervous. And after taking a closer look at them, it looks like all the fogginess is on the inside...
Like when the lights are off, they look ok. But when I turn the lights on, then you can see all the haziness.

Well, with no light on the dirt cannot really be noticed, when the light is on the beam of light is obstructed by the dirt in some way. Makes sense

Those are "G1" aftermarket projectors. not very good.

However there are also "G3" aftermarket projectors from the same company. IIRC, they are like $150/pair including projectors bulbs and ballasts. How they wire is they stick through the bulb hole in your existing reflector. No cutting needed.

There's a guy on HIDPlanet with a hook-up for them straight from China.
