Heated/power/airbag seat interchangability?

so i have a 2000 A33 and my motor and switch is bad on the driver side. i applied power and ground to the motor and nothing, i also checked voltage at the connector and get nothing when i move the switch to move the seat back forward or backward.

so my question is, my seat is heated/power and has an airbag, i found a gray leather seat heated, power and airbag on Ebay , but the listing says 02-03, but i have a 00.

would the connectors fit? what about mounting location?

thanks for replies guys ( and maybe girls too ) , i'm still learning this car .

It should wire up the same, but the seat design is different. If you just replace 1 seat it wont match the other.

thats ok , i just need to know if the wiring harness is the same for a 2000-2003.

better to not match than to not work, and i can't find a seat for a 2000 with leather/heated/power/airbag anywhere

Just the take cushions and cover off of the old seat and put them on the new one so your seats match.

I think there are four total connectors. 2 out of the four are supposedly p/p (abs and basic power) but the third and fourth which incorporates wiring for the memory needs identification.

yeah i thought about that.

theres a forum member selling a seat, though he says it's ratty, i just need the switch to work and the reclining motor to work.

i can reuse my current seat track and motors and just use what i need from the donor seat...he's selling it for $50 , and is in the same state as i so i'll prolly just go that route..

thanx a mil orgers
