I Did it But...

Well, my 02 had the timing chain noise plus a ticking in the rocker area and the oil consumption thing going on. Gearbox was grinding in the first three gears. Thanks to the .org for all the resource and info made available, I swapped in an engine and tranny for less than the mechanic would charge me to replace the timing chain tensioner alone. Everything when well until I poked a hole in the AC condenser. I replaced this today, but my question is...how do I go about getting it recharged.

I'm no expert but you need to pull a vacuum on the a/c system to get the air out of it and after that just put you freon in it. you'll need a set of gauges with the hoses and a vacuum pump and freon.
