p0300 code...
p0300 code...
i gotta p0300 code which is a random/multiple misfire code.. but i ohm'd out the 3 injectors i can see and they were like 15-16 ohms.. i unplugged all 6 coils individually and i can hear the rpms drop and when i drive the car it seems to be running fine?.. next step is pull off the manifold and ohm the other 3 injectors or some how do a compression test?
The causes of a PO300 are sometimes really hard to find. For example, just because coils are testing good at the time doesn't mean that they are not the culprit. You may have to test the coils under load for them to show signs of failure.
My mother-in-law had a PO300 on her 4th gen a little while back. Vehicle had a flashing MIL and everything (Catalyst damaging). Coils and injectors all checked out ok. Vehicle had almost 180K, so I replaced all coils and problem went away.
