2 days ago there was heavy flooding on brookville road. I hit some water about 4 inches deep. That is when the problems started. I started hearing a squealing noise. Which I just shrugged off, because I thought it was belt noise.I got home, and the noise was still going. So I checked, and the AC Compressor is making the squealing noise. So I waited till the next day. Went out, and the same noise is coming from the AC Compressor. Loud piercing squealing noise. So, what would cause this. Is the compressor a sealed system. Is their some sort of intake on this compressor, and maybe some water got in?

Need to replace the compressor. Bearing seized most likely.
