Installed Vogtland Springs w/KYB GR-2's...

Coming from Maxspeed Springs w/Tokico Blues...

...recently cut one ring of front Maxspeeds and liked the aesthetics but not the increase in harshness.

Purchased KYB GR2/Vogtland package from eBay seller JDMWerks.

Install went smoothly and the initial ride was exceptional compared to Maxspeeds. Similiar to stock ride but with much better response. Haven't driven long enough for full review.

I also bought new bellows and bumpstops from NAPA because mine were destroyed. The ones I had were the one piece rubber OEM style that I installed when I put the Tokico/Maxspeeds in. They were literally in pieces. The new ones are a two piece soft plastic bellow and cream white bumpstop. Much nicer and much easier to cut shorter. Best part was I could still connect the bellows to the cut bumpstops.

See pics...

REAR:

Current ride height after install is

27" Front
26" Rear

I will measure again in a few weeks after the struts and springs settle in.

Uh, it's only been 5 mins since I posted this thread. Ride is same as initial ride.

Car's parked, Boondock Saints II - All Saints Day is starting soon ;-) I'm having a few beers...

Excellent post, thanks for the review.

Keep us updated on how the car feels.

How much were the bumpstops/bellows at NAPA? How many miles did you have on the previous bumpstops/bellow combination?

No doubt, me too!
I want to go home and install my new spark plugs. Just waiting on the intake manifold gasket!

The bumpstop bellows cost about $23 a piece front/rear from NAPA and they were in stock locally. Total cost was $98.

I had a little over 57k miles on the Maxspeed/Tokico's with rubber one piece bumpstop bellows.
