I know that it is possible to switch seats into a 5 gen from a altima se-r or 5.5 gen or even i30 seats...

The question is will it be plug and play with the airbag light? I hat seeing any lights light up on the dash so before i start looking for seats i wanted to know which will work with my car? I have a 01 with side airbags... so what are my options?

Is it possible? Yes. Is it plug and play? No.

You're going to have to figure out how to wire the seats into your car. Personally, I put 5.5 gen seats into my 5th gen but I swapped the motors of the 5.5 gen driver seat to those of a 5th gen to bypass the memory (something else you should look out for when converting seats). I'm sure someone with more technical know how would be able to wire whatever seat into the car perfectly, but yeah...it isn't plug and play.
