My 02 3.5 when driving and barely on gas it knocks but once I give it a little more gas it stops right away and this is in any gear and only sometimes when I'm hardly touching the pedal... Plus every few days I'm
getting a random/multiple misfire code

ok so, when driving around and im like hardly on the gas almost like a coast but my foot is feathering the pedal i can hear a knocking sound kinda loud, but once i let off the pedal completely or push it like a 1/4 the way down it goes away instantly.. what is that?

 

It's either a coil a sparkplug, or for sure. It should eventually throw a cylinder specific code (or a few), so you will know exaclty which one went bad. If and when you have to replace a coil, go with Oem.

 

thanks man.. is there away to check the coils under a load? cause i just put new plugs in
