2K2 Rough Idle

I'm wondering if anyone has been experiencing an uneven idle in their 2K2 Maxima while it is in neutral?

Once warmed up, mine seems to idle around 600 rpms, but the rpm's visibly fluctuate on the guage within a range (guess now) of about +/- 20 rpm. I also "feel" a related and irregular vibration from the engine through the floor of the car and the seats. I would characterize this vibration as caused by the engine "loping". It is a feeling that is similar to a car with aggressive cams but not nearly that bad. Is this normal for the 3.5 engine?

The car has about 1200 miles and is/has been running on 92+ Octane fuel. The car is a manual. Thanks!

2k2 Auto here @ 3900 miles. No rough idling at all. Even when it's close to freezing outside i never felt a rough idle.

2K2 6spd with 850 miles and a perfect idle. Take it to the dealer if it is bothering you.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll have to take into the dealer and have it looked at. It did strike me as being a little odd since the car is so new and I've really been taking care of it . . . I let everyone know what happens after I get it to the dealer.

Gas brand??

Try getting gas from a different station or brand. But stick with high quality 91 octane or above gas.
