I35 and 5 th gen max part swap

I test drove the I35 today, really nice ride. I noticed however that the physical layout and the V6 block was exactly like the 2k2 max plus 17"s. So I started to think would the brakes on the I35 work on a 2K max and would it be worth it?

The 2K2 max and I35 both have the same brakes, they use a new Electronic brake distribution system.

Does this mean it wouldn't work on a 2k or 2k1?

You would have to by the E.B.C. unit and a host of new sensors. I don't know exactly what is involved but it will probably cost easaly over a grand to do.
