After about 6 seconds on the audio you will here a tapping noise or something like it. It does it if i'm going around 10mph or 40 or just at random times. Can someone tell me what that is?

 

It was hard to hear it with my kids bouncing off the walls, but from what I heard, it sounds like your timing chain hitting the cover.

 

hmm....if it is what can be done?


BTW: that noise comes from the passenger side of the engine

 

After digging around i found this http://repairpal.com/engine-knock-142 and its right on point. Thinking back it started after an oil change now i know what to do VQPOWER thanks for the tip

 

Yeah I would of went with the oil level cause when I took over the 03' and sold my 00' I heard noise in the engine when I started it and went away later but I did a oil change and found it had like 2.5 quarts I like damn and I add Lucas Oil Stabilzer.
