Vibration/Thumping (???) at low idle

Car idles at around 600-700 rpm. Ive noticed some sort of thumping/humming thing going on. It sounds like really really low bass coming through a high powered sub (no sub in my car). When I bring it up to 1k it goes away. The car runs great, no power loss, no SES, no weird mileage issue.

The plugs need to be replaced i just need to find the time. Could this be the issue? something to do with the previous owners running low octane gas? (i run only 93 and use Mobil 1 in case thats important)

any idea?

thanks in advance

B

Probably just a misfire. Change the plugs and see if the problem goes away. Go with NGK, btw.

I had the same thing. It was the plugs misfiring. But change them soon or it can cause some expensive repairs.
