Intake cut ac line

I recently reinstalled my Stillen high flow intake as I noticed better gains over the stock intake with it. When I originally removed the intake I noticed the previous owner didn't tighten it down all the way. I saw that the mounting bracket was a bit close to the a/c line but I didn't think it would make a big difference. So I tightened it down all the way. Few days later I heard a loud noise (gas releasing) under my hood and about a day later the ac stopped working.

I have a friend that is repairing the a/c line for me but I have a few questions.

Anyone with the stillen high flow intake know of a way to mount it without cutting into the a/c line?

I was also told to buy some r134a from autozone as I will need it in order to refil my system. He has an ac machine of some kind so he can check pressure.

Does any one know how many of those cans I will need to fill the car to about 1.1lb (as recommended by fsm)? Just want to make sure I buy enough so I don't have to make another trip. Thanks!

Actually I think I just answered my question on the amount of cans, it seems there is about 12oz per a can which is .75lb. So I think I'll be good with two cans. Just need to see if anyone has some good suggestions on how to avoid puncturing the ac line again.

It's amazing what damage can be accomplished with vibrating/chafing parts. I remember seeing a spiral wrapped oil line chafe a groove thru an aircraft transmission deck (aluminum) which was about.50"-.75" in thickness
