Hey guys- I just got in the first AE engine cover, it is already sold, but the odd thing is that it came with the mounting bushings already on it! My parts illustration showed them to be sepearate, and at 10 bucks each x4, added a lot to this upgrade. I have already ordered in all the hardware, when it comes in, I'll see what it really takes to get one on a car, maybe I can put together a package deal that will make the price a little more tolerable! Also, I just got in the AE headlamps today, they run $109 a side.
Thanks Again! David Burnette, South Point Nissan

headlights

Hey, when someone gets (and installs) those headlight assemblies, let the rest of us know how difficult or easy an install that is!

$218.... I'm saving up for those bad boys!

What is the BIG difference in the lights from 2000 to 2001
I saw a 2001 AE the other day and the only difference was
it had the black boarder around the edges...GREAT..
YEAH, that's worth 2 and change.......
Tell me if I am missing something.

the ONLY diffirence is the black boarder.
my old headlights were all messed up (scratches etc) so i wanted to replace them and figured might as well do AE ones.

Go here...

http://www.edmunds.com/used/2001/nis...2F008280-T.jpg

Use the scroll on the left to look at the different pictures. You will see the AE has a more aggressive smoked look to them (they aren't really black) and it is more than just a border around the edges.

Might not mean much to you, but a number of people like the look.

Dude, it is NOT just the 'black border' (which you are wrong about), AND he does not have the AE body kit, it is the Stillen one.

Background of the headlight is 'bronzed'. Looks great to me but others probably don't care. BTW, mine came with the car. lol

Since someone already commented on teh headlights, I will address the body kits...

http://www.stillen.com/Sportscars_de...&id=324&page=1

and look at the AE on my previous link to Edmunds.

The front treatment is different, especially the lowest part of the lip, the rear is very different in that the AE does not have those 'holes', the side skirts on an AE are straight and not 'arched' like the Stillen. And overall the AE is far more hard edged and not nearly as 'rounded over' as the Stillen.
