Another P0430 Code Question

So i just got my car inspected and came up with a P0430 (bank 2 cat) code. Im unsure how this works but when you install headers and y pipe, and reattach the o2 sensors, will i still get this code?

Also I live in PA and not sure how this works, but if i get headers and a y pipe, eliminating the precats, would it pass emissions?

Anyone with any knowledge about this subject please let me know. I couldnt find an answer through the forums. Thanks in advance

You didn't search because if you did, you would have gotten at least 50 results.

If you did this:

You would get all these results! Very simple you see!

How could you not find the answer in those search results?

Do we need to hold your hand and spoon feed you everything?

O2 sims maybe, eh?

Well forums are usually used to answer questions which is why i asked but apparently there are people on here that get their jollies off on not helping others and trying to be a hard ***.

Did you get picked on in high school? Just wondering

Quit being lazy and read the search results.

It's the same in every state that requires emissions (afaik). If you have a code you will not pass. The fix is to use an 02 sim on both secondaries. That's all there is to it.

I have the same issue (NJ). Ever since I put my y-pipe in I get the error code along with the fun "Service Engine Soon" light. It doesn't affect anything, only when it's time for inspection. A sim would do the trick. To save the money, you could attempt to reset the battery right before inspection and hope the code isn't thrown until after inspection.
