lower ball joint
#2
i got my ball joints ffrom Napa auto parts.
can't remember how much i paid , i think it was around $30/each but they fit like a glove and it looks quality.
i didn't want to go with Moog ball joints since they " stretch " the LCA , and i wanted to stay OEM quality.
they're very easy to replace if you have the ball joint tool.
Most places let you rent them, some even for free...

I wouldn't say it is very easy to do but it is a DIY job if you have a good back and enough time. Get some Advil to soothe the back once you are done.
Put the new BJs into the freezer for 8 hrs, it will shrink it ever so little that it will slip onto the control arm. Take it out of the freezer right before pushing it into the control arm.
Also you need to rent snap ring pliers to get the old snap ring out and put the new one in.
Good luck.
