I saw that...just hope the car doesnt actually have issues. Is it someone on the forum doing the bidding or just some random Joe?

If it was someone on the forum...I hope they read the issues presented and the sellers statements regarding them and made their own informed decision and not just taken the ebay text word for word.

Take notes 2slow....the above paragraph is the POINT of my posts...making sense to you yet?

Thanks, I always understood the point of your initial posts. Although I don't think you fully understood your post/writing, which occurs more frequently than most will admit. It was clouded with inflammatory and unnecessary hearsay and assumptions of condition.

For that price range and time period, the safe move would be an appliance type vehicle such as:

-Toyota Corolla
-Honda Civic
-Ford Crown Vic (including police interceptors)

These appliances are also attractive as production numbers were high, easing the search for a good example.

After a little more thought, I would amend the list to include:

-Ford Focus
-Subaru Impreza/Legacy (with replaced head gasket)

Why amend a list that noone asked for? Seriously, I am looking for a CAR..anyone on this forum that ever refers to any vehicle as "an appliance" should be perma=banned. NO car I ever own is an "appliance" and never would I refer to anything in my garage as such.

I know what I am looking for and I will eventually get it. Deals have come and gown for those cars in that price range and they will come again. After I get my SER, the car I buy now will stick around as a long trip/extra vehicle so...no, I dont need one of your so listed "appliances"

Though this has been thoroughly enjoyable, eventually one of you will need to concede the fact that urine ejects from one of your ******** more forcefully than the other.

Ok, I apologize for trying to help by listing inexpensive, reliable vehicles. Enjoy your search for a vehicle which you admitted doesn't exist.

That's some nice arrogance.

Most regard cars as transportation appliances regardless of features, sportiness, style, etc and rightly so, as their primary purpose is transportation. This view can be fairly helpful when searching for transportation as it keeps one away from unreliable or problem laden vehicles with other attractive features (power, style, gimmicks, etc...; i.e. older German vehicles).

BTW, my Maxima is a transportation appliance, albeit one with a touch of fun.

Good for you, just don't repeat your 3rd gen. mistake.

I've got time. Can I make this thread more if I added some pictures or throw around insults? I'm pretty good at finding humorous pictures.

I know plenty of people that refer to their cars as "appliances". Big difference is that they do not belong to an AUTOMOTIVE FORUM. You see, here is where people go to enjoy their car and those who also enjoy their cars. I love cars and I love the cars I drive, regardless of what it is. I stated what I am looking for. I did not ask for some stupid list with some stupid comments. If you would read the posts once again (Im noticing a trend with you that you spout off BS before actually reading what that BS pertains to...lots of growing up to do man) you would notice that I said...deals in that range have come and gone and will come again. Patience is a virtue.

Now, seeing as how you made an a$$ of yourself earlier by posting useless drivel and have re-inforced that image by once again making yourself look like an a$$ by posting more useless drivel, I assure you, I am done with this conversation and with you. post away little boy...the floor is yours. Im out!

Actually, it's more often a place for people to complain about their car, elicit empathy from others and maybe find a fix.

You are trying to draw a distinction between an emotional response towards a vehicle (love) with a rational response (vehicle as an appliance). These are mutually exclusive as one can love an appliance (an instrument, apparatus, or device for a particular purpose or use).

Case in point: I particapte in a few AUTOMOTIVE FORUMS, I enjoy my cars, I work to maintain their functionality & maximize their utility (my purpose for forum use), I realize they are replaceable appliances. Although you won't apply, I will ask regardless: does this viewpoint mean I shouldn't participate in and AUTOMOTIVE FORUM?

BTW, I enjoy the irony of someone claiming superior maturity (although implied) while using immature words such as stupid, a$$ & BS. I am not claiming I have a higher level of maturity than, just that there was irony presented.

This thread could also use another drama llama.

Sorry for late response -- my 4th gen is 5MT, I've decided that I'm not owning another auto, as too many of them left me walking.... least I can push start a 5MT ... Honestly look at the 4th gen in 5MT, you won't be disappointed.
