Webasto is a good brand from what I've seen/read online. I wanted to get one myself but never had the ***** to. They have installation places in Queens.

^^ Agreed. It will never be as good or enjoyable as the factory sunroof.

My opinion -- you should have waited for the exact car you wanted, in this case, one with a sunroof. There are deals out there, but it just takes time to find the car you want within the price range you want.

Sell it and buy one with a sunroof!

I bought my dad a Camry and he had a sunroof installed shortly after. He and my mom ended up switching cars because it lowered the head room so much that he hits his head on the ceiling now. It works great still and has never leaked, but I'd never suggest going this route. As funny as it sounds, its far easier to buy a new car.

Weird question... but how tall is your dad? I'm 6'0 and I've been looking into shelling out the $900 for a sunroof, never considered the headroom issue though.

i've had 7 maximas, this is my 1st 5th gen. took me 3-4 yrs to get one in my parameters. cutting a hole in the roof isnt something that scares me. and i will enjoy it a hell of alot more than not having a sunroof. if i could find one i would install a panoramic roof or a venetian roof off a g6. the factory sunroof is a little small for my taste
