DASH LIGHT COMES ON EVERYTIME I HIT THE BRAKES

I went to the carwash yesterday thats when I noticed the dashboard light. Its in the lower lefthand corner it looks like headlights with a slash between them, I only see it when I hit my brakes.

I had a similar problem except I think it was the airbag light. I would check fuses to make sure that the ones associated with your tail light are not blown.

That means one of your brake light bulbs is out.

Have someone press the brake while you go out back & check which light is out ( L or R).

brakes

I'm having the sane issues with my 2003 Nissan Maxima, and no it's not a tail light out. My brake pedal are solft and my e brake is loose when I pull up. I've checked fluids and replaced brake pads, could a bad caliper cause these problems?

have you had this car for a while...changed your brake bulbs recently? If you did then you could possibly put in a bulb that the car thinks is weak and thats why you get that dash light.

my brake lights are brand new LED bulbs and my "bulb out" light comes on when i touch the brakes..basically the car thinks theres nothing there

You need to have 2 things done.

You need to bleed the brakes at all 4 wheels, following the proper sequence because of the ABS system. If the pedal is still soft, the master cylinder is bad.

The parking brake needs to be adjusted, but first check that the brake pads are not worn out.
