Problems with 5.5 gen Headlights

I recently got a new set of 5.5 gen headlights for my 00. Unfortunately the headlight did not come with a clip to hold down the HID bulb. So now I am in a pickle of how am I supposed to hold down the bulb. I was thinking gluing the bulb down but that would just be a bad decision I think. If anyone has an extra clip that would work or any suggestions would be great.
Thank you-
TJ

I would rather have the clip then glue or tape it down, I feel that the tape wouldn't be able to hold the weight of the bulb and plug.

Improvise. Maybe use some thicker steel wire and make your own clip.

I would not glue or tape.

Dam I wish the 2k2 clips would work. I have an extra 2k2 clip and it doesn't work because that only uses 2 screws and the 2k3 uses 3 screws to hold down the bulb.

DO NOT GLUE OR TAPE! it will melt as that area gets extremely hot with the light on. i say fashion your own out of a large paper clip and use the other side as a guide to bend it correctly.

my .002

I talked to about 6 Nissan Dealerships and they all said that I would need to get a new housing in order to get that clip. If anyone has a set of junk 03 headlights with some retainer clips on there please PM me I am in desperate need of these.

^^
Talk to DaveB and he can lead you in the right direction with this harnesses that you can buy. IF you already have the headlights then its easy if you don't its an expensive mod.
