Look what I stole

Found 2003 350z touring wheels on local craigslist for $200. Came with bridgestone potenza's with probably 75-80% tread left. 18". No dents or curb rash on any of the rims. 245mm in rear and 225 in the front. I practically stole these from this fool. He called me after I had already bought them and had them in garage and told me someone just offered him $350. One thing I will say though is that they are heavy as sh*t.

Cant really see the tread cuz they are all filled with grime, but they're deep.

I would have said sure, there's a 60% restocking fee. This guy must be a mental midget.

^^^LOL I kept scrolling hoping to find the "AFTER" pics---it does look a lot like the 6th gen wheels. The OP got a great deal...those rims are really clean.

Very close, Hotshot. But the 2004 SE rims had a sharper crease in the corners, and the flat center of each spoke flared at the lip of the Maxima Rims, whereas these don't. It's such a nit-picky detail, that you really have to put them side-by-side to see the differences.

At the end of the day, they are all 6-spoke, silver-painted aluminum OEM rims. And they all look nice...

...although if I were to replace my OEM rims, I'd prioritize lower weight along side appearance.

Those look very nice and clean. I had a set of 6th gen wheels at one time and got rid of them fast. They are heavy, but what bothered me was the rubbing when turning.

Was he really expecting you to just hand over the rims after he called you? That takes some guts, haha.

appreciate all the good comments gus. yeah on the phone it was something along this lines of.." *siggghhh* well this puts you in somewhat of a predicament, but..." when really he put himself in that situation, its not my loss r-tard. if he would have taken one step into the interwebz and saw whats reasonable.

they do look very similar, infact my brother and I put them on and he asked me the same thing...if they came off a 6th gen.

Nelsito65, was your car on stock suspension? cuz i have never rubbed.

rroderiques77, yes they do look oddly similar, did they come off a versa?

Nice find. I remember when I got these same Z wheels last year I had the BF Goodrich KDW2's (flame tread tires). wheels and tires for 400. good tread all around

Aren't Bridgestone Potenzas what came stock on our cars? I bought my car used with only about 25k miles on it and it had those same Potenzas. (Can't imagine someone would have replaced the original tires that early.)

Yes. Pretty common all-season tires.
