H.I.D bulb replacement

Hello all....!
I have a 2000 maxima SE.

I just received my new set of 2002-2003 style headlights and I was wondering since I already have an H.I.D kit (Bi-Xenon) on the OEM headlights, If I could just purshace the two bulbs for the new headlights and just plug them bag into the old kit.....

Would that cause any problem with the fact that the kit is for Bi-xenon 9003 bulbs?
If not, what size bulb fits on the low beam side?

You should have a ballast that comes with each 5.5 hid housing. All you should have to do is plug in the bulbs (if they don't come with them). They use D2R bulbs, not 9003 on the low beam.

9003 kit bulbs won't work. D2R bulbs only.

Philips 85126+, Philips 85126, and the above linked Philips 85126CX are all good choices (ranging from 4300k to 5000k)

D2R for low beam got my replacement pair for 32 bucks from HIDextra.com since Nissan wanted 190 for one and I got the 8000k instead of the stock ones!!

Will I be able to plug the d2R's into my old Bi-xenon kit?

Yes, you should have no problems with that. That is what I did and it worked perfect.

I don't think so, unless you retrofit something.
